Why British Courts won’t extradite Julian Assange to the United States.

Rumor has it the DOJ has prepared charges under the following statutes: • Espionage: 18 U.S.C. § 793(d) • Conspiracy to commit espionage: 18 U.S.C. § 793(g) • The theft or conversion of property belonging to the United States government: 18 U.S.C. § 641 • Violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act: 18 U.S.C. § 1030 • Conspiracy: 18 U.S.C. § 371 Here is why extradition will never happen. Reports for the last year consistent talk about CISCO devices being targeted (same way you tell someone how to fish, he starts fishing in your pond). CISCO sells hardware to all companies affected in Talons report. They also provide the IOS (not to be confused with the iOS) which means the exploit ..

Glenn Greenwald: Exactly: having the US Government prosecute Assange or WikiLeaks for publishing documents – as @AdamSchiffCA apparently wants – would be about 10,000 times more severe attack on press freedom than Trump tweeting insults at Wolf Blitzer & Chuck Todd, even if the docs hurt Dems:

Elon Musk: I’ve just had it with sanctimonious journalists who appoint themselves protectors of the public interest & yet believe that same public is too stupid & immoral to assess their credibility. It’s amazing that you don’t understand how insufferably hypocritical that is. Wow.
